Generations gone. Source accounts of Polish Siberians in the UK
On 20 November 2013, in the main hall of the Pedagogical University of Krakow, Prof. Kazimierz Karolczak – Vice-Chancellor for Science and International Cooperation of the UP, and Mr. Józef Kołodziej – representative of the Siberians Association in Krakow, solemnly opened the exhibition “Generations are leaving. Source accounts of Polish Siberians in Great Britain. Nottingham”. The exhibition is the aftermath of the Pedagogical University’s mission to Nottingham, organised in October 2012. The project was funded by the National Programme for the Development of the Humanities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. A total of 5 exhibitions were organised by the Centre as a result of the grant entitled ‘Generations are leaving. Source accounts of Polish Siberians in the UK” in 2012-2016 related to Polish Siberians in Nottingham (20. 11. 2013), Bradford (4. 06. 2014), Leeds (4. 11. 2015), Birmingham (22. 06. 2016) , Coventry (15.12.2016)
