Polish Siberians in the world

On 2 September 2014, a press conference was held on the 4th Congress of Polish Scientific Societies Abroad. The themes of the congress focused on the education of Polish youth abroad and the fate of Poles exiled to Siberia in the 19th and 20th centuries. There was also a ceremonial opening of the exhibition “Polish Siberians in the World” prepared by the Centre for Documentation of Deportations, Expulsions and Resettlements of the Pedagogical University in Cracow. The exhibition was opened by Dr Hubert Chudzio, director of CDZWP UP in Krakow.
