  • Participation in the international project: “Activities of the Delegations of the Polish Embassy in the USSR between 1941 and 1943”, dedicated to the search in the archives of Kazakhstan for documentation related to the activities of the Polish Delegations. The project is conducted by the Polish Embassy in Astana. Acting as an expert, I am currently preparing an exhibition devoted to the documents found. The project is also planning a book publication of the discovered archival materials.
  • International Youth Rally “Europe of Youth – Europe of Peace”, organiser and designer. Wapienne – Krakow 2014.   • Achievements in teaching and popularisation of science:
  • Creation of the UP Documentation Centre for Displaced Persons, Expulsions and Resettlement. This institution was created as a result of the work of conducting research projects with history students of the Pedagogical University. Currently, some of the students involved in these projects are employees of the Centre and continue their research activities.
  • Since 2003 the Supervisor of the Student Academic Circle of Historians of the Pedagogical University of Krakow. Over the years the Circle has been recognised several times as the best in the rankings of the circles of the Pedagogical University. Through its activities it has also gained great recognition in Poland, which can be seen in media reports.
  • Originator, founder and editorial supervisor of the student historians’ magazine “Wehikuł Czasu”, published from 2004 to the present.
  • Since 1994 he has collaborated with TVP Kraków. For this TVP and other TVP programmes he has prepared several hundred materials (news and films) on historical and archaeological topics, promoting Polish science.
  • As a historian, for many years he has been an expert in TVP programmes on the following topics: history of the 19th and 20th centuries; forced migration; archaeology.
  • Originator and director of the International Archaeological Film Festival organised by the Archaeological Museum in Kraków.
  • The newspaper “Rzeczpospolita” published in the form of CDs a series of 4 films directed by him entitled “Śladami polskich archeologów”. As so-called inserts, they were included in the magazine in 2006. In total, the number of more than one million CDs became a significant promotion of Polish science.
  • He prepared projects for, and mostly led, 15 thematic student summer science camps between 2000 and 2016. Their results include a collection of more than 200. witness accounts of forced migrations and more than 800. inventoried objects recognised, according to the 1933 law, as war graves, quarters and cemeteries.
  • The Silesian Museum in Katowice, during the Night at the Museum in 2013, organised a screening of films directed by him, preceded by his own lectures. Similar was the 2011 Wrocław Post-Competition Screening of the 1st Archaeological Film Festival – Kraków 2010, where his archaeological films were screened in the Town Hall preceded by meetings with the author. The films also promoted Polish science during screenings in e.g. Poznan, Chelmno and Krakow.
  • A film directed by him: Ni Anch Nefertum – the forgotten priest was qualified for the final screenings of several foreign film festivals, where it promoted the achievements of Polish science. See: Thessaloniki (Greece) 2006, Besançon (France) 2007, Bordeaux (France) 2008.
  • As part of its cooperation with the Malopolska Board of Trustees, it has been co-organising the competition for young people “The fate of Poles in Siberia” since 2012. There have been 5 editions so far. In 2014, the competition became nationwide.
  • He has prepared and led, as a manager, 14 scientific missions abroad, in which employees and students of the Pedagogical University participated. One by one these were in Tanzania 2009 (Tengeru), Uganda 2009 (Koja and Masindi); UK 2010 (Leicester); Australia 2011 (Perth); UK 2012 (Nottingham), 2013 (Bradford, Leeds, Birmingham), 2014 (Coventry); Canada 2014 (Montreal), Israel 2015, South Africa-Zimbabwe-Zambia 2015, USA (Hardford, New Britain) 2016, Romania (Cacica) VI and IX 2016. These resulted in the documentation (cartographic, photographic and film) of Polish necropolises in East Africa and the filming of more than 200. hour-long accounts of Siberians who left Soviet Russia in 1942 with the Polish army commanded by General Władysław Anders, as well as the rescue of the disappearing heritage of the Polish village of Kaczyk in Bukovina.
  • He has repeatedly given historical and archaeological lectures as part of rehabilitation for inmates in the Cracow – Podgórze detention centre.
  • The Discovery Historia TV channel in 2007-2014 repeatedly presented a series of 5 popular science films directed by him entitled: “Polish Pharaohs”, documenting the work of Polish archaeological missions in Egypt. A similar series of films promoting Polish science on historical and archaeological subjects was presented on TV Planete (7 productions), TVP Kraków (over 20 films), TVP Historia (2), TVP 1 (1).
  • During the Krakow Science Festival in 2013, as a representative of the Pedagogical University, he gave an interview for the film collection entitled. “People of Science”. A year later, as part of this Festival, the research unit created and led by him, the Centre for Documentation of Displacement, Expulsion and Resettlement, was selected by UP for the Festival as an example of the most interesting scientific project of the university. As a result, a report on the Centre’s scientific activities was produced by the organisers of the Krakow Science Festival. As part of the promotion of science, a film about the Centre was also produced by TVP Historia (premiere 22 April 2014).
  • Developed, together with the staff of the Centre for the Documentation of Displacement, Expulsion and Resettlement, a series of educational workshops for young people on the forced migration of Poles. Since 2012 and still, such workshops are regularly held at Fort Skotniki.
