Centre with a prestigious international Erasmus Plus grant!

Centre with a prestigious international Erasmus Plus grant! We are starting work on a new international research project entitled. ‘European Dimension of Nazi History Using the Example of Archaeological Excavations in the Gusen Concentration Camp’. It will be realised between 2025 and 2026 in cooperation with the Museum of Natural History in Vienna and the institutions operating at the Memorials of the Nazi concentration and extermination camps of Matchausen-Gusen in Austria and Dachau in Germany (Gemeindeverband ‘Bewusstseinsregion Mauthausen-Gusen – St. Georgen’; Evangelische Versöhnungskirche in der KZ-Gedenkstätte Dachau) The themes of the project are related, among other things, to the commemoration of the history of Polish heroes – prisoners of the Gusen concentration camp. More about the ‘Kommando of Hope’ saving fellow prisoners from certain death will follow soon!
Activities will result in an exhibition presented at the Natural History Museum in Vienna, a travelling exhibition with a catalogue and educational materials, and documentary films. Funding: Erasmus Plus Programme.
