The Center Featured in the Publication “Collections of Polish Science”!

We are delighted to announce that the collections and activities of the UKEN Center for Documentation of Deportations, Expulsions, and Resettlements have been featured in the prestigious two-volume catalog titled “Collections of Polish Science: University Museums and Collections.” The publication showcases the richness and diversity of the academic heritage gathered at 127 Polish higher education institutions.
It is an honor for us to be included in such distinguished company, and at the same time a unique opportunity to present our one-of-a-kind resources more widely—archival materials, photographs, memorabilia, and a rich collection of eyewitness accounts that we have been gathering, cataloging, and making available for years.
We are delighted that, thanks to this publication, the Center’s achievements can be more widely presented as part of the rich heritage of Polish science and the academic community.
We thank the Association of University Museums for this important initiative and for the opportunity to showcase the Center’s activities!
The publication “Collections of Polish Science: University Museums and Collections” is the result of the project “Unique Collections of Polish Science,” co-financed from the State Budget under the Ministry of Education and Science’s “Social Responsibility of Science—Popularization of Science and Promotion of Sports” program.
