A study visit to the Museum of Photography in Kraków!

We’ve just returned from an extremely valuable study visit to the Museum of Photography in Kraków. It was an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices regarding work in studio laboratories—including darkrooms—as well as the preservation and storage of collections.

Thank you for the meeting and the opportunity to discuss our daily work, organizational solutions, and the challenges associated with caring for museum collections.

We would like to extend special thanks to Rafał Grzybowski and Michał Misztal from the Department of Conservation and Collection Storage, and to Mateusz Woźniak from the Department of Inventories (Photographic Studio).

It was a wonderful experience, filled with many inspiring conversations and ideas that we will certainly put to use in our daily work.
