Krakow Stronghold Days
On the eve of Siberian Day, as part of Krakow Fortress Days and the 31st European Heritage Days, there was a guided tour of the armoured memorial guard Fort 52 1/2 N Skotniki and a curator’s tour of the exhibition titled “The Siberian exiles”. “Exiled to Siberia. The fate of Polish citizens deported deep into the Soviet Union during World War II”. A concert of Siberian and patriotic songs from the 19th and 20th centuries entitled ‘Wnukowie Sybiraków’, featuring Magda Niedbała – Solarz, Mateusz Kurcaba and Weronika Depak, was organised in cooperation with the Full Life Foundation, whose headquarters is the neighbouring, twin fort 52 1/2 S Sidzina.
