Dr Zaid Sekito from Makerere University in Uganda a guest at the Centre’s headquarters

We are very pleased to have hosted Dr Zaid Sekito from Makerere University in Uganda at the Centre’s Skotniki Fort during his stay at the UKEN Institute of History and Archival Studies, as part of the Erasmus Mundus academic exchange programme of the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow. Dr Zaid Sekito was impressed by our scientific activities and archival collections related to deportations of Polish citizens deep into the USSR and Polish settlements in Africa in the 1940s.

We are delighted that we were able to exchange our experiences with a researcher from Makerere University in Kampala and believe that this is the beginning of an interesting collaboration!
