Archival fonds from CDZWiP UKEN form the basis for educational workshops on the fate of Jews from Trzebinia!

Ms. Katarzyna Odrzywołek-Paleta (historian, educator at the Auschwitz Museum, who has been cooperating with CDZWiP UKEN for many years) conducted educational workshops entitled “What do the Jews of Trzebinia who survived the Holocaust have to say to us?” for students of the Technical and Service School Complex in Trzebinia (ZSTU).
Among the source materials that the young people worked with were excerpts from interviews with Holocaust survivors, recorded during the CDZWiP UKEN scientific mission to Israel in 2015.
We are glad that these materials are not just sitting on an archival shelf, but are being used to spread awareness about the fate of the Jews of Trzebinia.
We would like to thank Ms. Katarzyna Odrzywołek-Paleta for her commitment and congratulate her on the completion of this important project!
