Polish Children in Iran 1942-1945: Consequences of the Sikorski-Mayski Agreement
On 2 July 2018, an exhibition was opened at the Malopolska Voivodship Office entitled. “Polish Children in Iran 1942-1945: The Consequences of the Sikorski-Mayski Pact”, which was prepared by the research team of the Centre for Documentation of Deportations, Expulsions and Resettlements of the Pedagogical University in Krakow. The opening of the exhibition was at the same time the inauguration of the Cracow celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the death of General Władysław Sikorski, organised by the Siberians’ Association in Cracow, the Malopolska Voivodship Office and the Centre for Documentation of Deportations, Expulsions and Resettlements at the Pedagogical University in Cracow.
