New book by Dr Alicja Śmigielska – ‘Wacław Babiński (1887–1957). Civil servant…’

New publications! A book entitled ‘Wacław Babiński (1887–1957). Civil servant – diplomat of the Second Polish Republic – social activist’ has been published. Its author is Dr Alicja Śmigielska, director and long-time employee of the Centre, who conducts research related to the Polish diaspora around the world.

The book deals with the subject of forced migration of Polish citizens, refugees and the history of Polish political emigration in the 20th century, presenting the fate of one of the representatives of the Polish diplomatic service.
