Classes on Polish memorial sites around the world

Today, students of Historical Tourism and Museum Studies at the UKEN in Kraków visited the UKEN Center for the Documentation of Deportations, Expulsions, and Resettlements in Kraków, where they participated in a class on Polish memorial sites around the world. ‼️

Special attention was given to a little-known but deeply moving topic—Polish cemeteries in Africa, which bear witness to the fate of our compatriots during World War II.

As part of the session, students toured the exhibition and learned about the inner workings of the Center. 🌍

The visit served as a valuable lesson in remembrance and prompted reflection on the responsibility to preserve history for future generations.
