The Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Katyn Massacre

Today we commemorate The Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Katyn Massacre. The main patriotic ceremonies in Kraków took place, of course, at the Katyn Cross on Father Adam Studziński Square. They were preceded by a Holy Mass at the garrison church of St. Agnes.
The event was organized by: Krzysztof Jan Klęczar, Governor of the Małopolska Province; Filip Musiał, Director of the Kraków Branch of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN); and Jacek Wawszczak, President of the Board of the Association of Families of Katyn Victims of Southern Poland in Kraków.
Representatives of the Center for Documentation of Deportations, Expulsions, and Resettlements of the UKEN in Kraków had the honor of participating in the ceremonies.
