A new, extremely valuable transport bag!

Last week, Wiktoria Zarębczan, M.A., and Natalia Czesak, M.A., visited Agnieszka and Zbigniew Kowalski in Olkusz to accept a unique gift donated to our collection.

Mr. and Mrs. Kowalski donated copies of photographs to the Center, as well as a very valuable American-made transport bag that belonged to Antoni Ziółkowski—a soldier in Anders’s Army and commander of the 11th Special Radiotelegraph Platoon. It will be displayed in the permanent exhibition dedicated to the battles of the II Polish Corps.

We sincerely thank Mr. and Mrs. Kowalski for their trust and for donating such valuable memorabilia, which will help preserve the memory of the Polish soldiers’ experiences.
