Online Interview with Mr. Andrzej Rattinger Aranda

A few days ago, we had the opportunity to conduct an online interview with Mr. Andrzej Rattinger Aranda, who visited the Center’s headquarters a few months ago.

During the interview, we talked about the history of Poles in Mexico, mementos related to his father, Władysław Rattinger, and discussed the valuable materials that Mr. Andrzej donated to the Center —books, exhibition catalogs about Polish children from Hacienda Santa Rosa in Mexico, and copies of the list of the second transport of Polish people from Bombay to Mexico, to the Santa Rosa settlement, in 1943.
It was an incredible online meeting, but we already know it won’t be the last. Mr. Andrzej will continue to search for family mementos related to his father, Władysław, as well as other materials connected to Poles who found refuge in Mexico.
Every such document, photograph, memory, or family keepsake is another piece of the history that we are working together to save from oblivion.
