“Modern and Progressive Museums: Relationships and Narratives” Academic Conference!

From October 20–23, the academic conference “The Modern and Progressive Museum—Relationships and Narratives” took place—a unique gathering of the museum community dedicated to contemporary challenges, new perspectives, and the role of museums in shaping collective memory.
Among this distinguished group, the UKEN Center for the Documentation of Deportations, Expulsions, and Resettlements was actively represented by Dr. Alicja Śmigielska, who participated in an important discourse on the responsibility for memory and the role of museums as spaces for dialogue between the past and the present.
The conference was an incredibly valuable opportunity to hear inspiring presentations and participate in meaningful discussions and meetings that undoubtedly provided new perspectives and inspiration!
