Erasmus+ participants from Slovakia at Fort Skotniki

We had the pleasure of hosting Erasmus+ program participants from Slovakia at the UKEN Center for Documentation of Deportations, Expulsions, and Resettlements in Kraków.
We were visited by Dr. Melánia Feszterová, along with a group of students from the Institute of Biology and Ecology at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, as well as UKEN staff members Prof. Magdalena Greczek-Stachura and Dr. Agnieszka Kania.
During the visit, our guests learned about the Center’s activities and toured the exhibition “Deported to Siberia,” dedicated to the fates of Polish citizens deported deep into the Soviet Union. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss remembrance and the importance of historical education in the modern world.
Thank you for your visit, and we are delighted that we were able to showcase our Center’s work to our international guests. We hope this was an inspiring meeting and the beginning of further joint initiatives.
